If you’re recording video you’ll need to bring an SD card like this and if you’re recording audio you’ll need to bring a micro SD like this one. You’ll plug those into our gear, hit record and walk away with your recordings. Here’s a tech walkthrough to get setup in each of our spaces.

**If you are recording with our equipment, make sure to bring an SD card like this for video + a micro SD card like this for audio recording. Without these you will not be able to record with our equipment.

Here’s how to start recording audio:

1. Locate the Rodecaster Pro 2 Mixer on the small table in between the chairs.

2. On the back of the mixer, hold down the on button to turn on the machine. When everything lights up and the screen has loaded you can continue.

3. You’ll see a micro SD slot at the back of the mixer which you can place your card into.

4. 2 mics are plugged into the mixer and ready to go for you.

5. When recording, I recommend keeping the mic within a fist distance of your mouth and speaking into the top of it.

6. When you’re ready to go hit the big green record button (it’ll turn red indicating it’s recording. When you tap it it will turn orange- it’s paused. Hold it down to end the recording and turn the light green again.)

To Capture Video:

1. We have 2 video options available: the Sony a7iii camera or you can use your phone to capture the recording.

2. For the Sony a7iii:

   Insert your SD card. Turn the camera on and place it in movie mode. Hit record and you're good to go.

3. Using your iPhone as a webcam: If you have an Apple Computer and an iPhone follow these instructions to use it as your webcam
